American Home Energy Corporation (AHEC) and American Energy Corporation (AEC) are committed to helping customers use less energy, lower their utility bills, and reduce their carbon footprint.

Our Founder and CEO, Matthew Stewart, launched American Home Energy Corporation (AHEC) in 2010 and American Energy Corporation (AEC) in 2011. Armed with a mechanical engineering degree from University of Maryland, Matt was inspired to promote energy savings through his prior experience with the Income Eligible Energy Efficiency Program, which connects low-income tenants and homeowners to comprehensive energy audits. Building on this foundation, Matt had a vision to offer energy-saving opportunities through the entire Mid-Atlantic community. AHEC and AEC have both flourished as energy efficiency consulting and contracting firms thanks to word-of-mouth advertising and customer loyalty. We are grateful for the opportunity to help residential and commercial customers save energy, save money, and save the environment.
